No. We accept both medical and non-medical backgrounds. Most attendees are nurses, HCAs, audiologists, pharmacists and other allied health professionals, but we also welcome career changers, complementary therapists and anyone with the right to work in the UK. We teach from the ground up, so total beginners learn alongside experienced healthcare professionals.

The moment you enrol you get immediate access to the UK’s most advanced ear wax removal pre-learning platform, built in-house by our own audiology and ear wax removal specialist clinicians. You cover ear anatomy, common conditions, infection control, consent, red flags and the theory behind microsuction, irrigation and manual instrumentation before you arrive, so the day itself can stay focused on hands-on practice.

Yes. It’s CPD-accredited and aligned with BSA, NICE and HCPC standards. The certificate is recognised by insurers, employers and regulators for professional development purposes.

Yes, provided you have insurance and equipment. The Training + Kit tier walks you out with the kit; you’ll need to arrange your own indemnity insurance. We include post-course support to help you set up safely.

No. We teach from the ground up. Some clinical familiarity (otoscope handling, infection control basics) helps you get the most out of the day, but you don’t need to have done wax removal before.

Roughly half the day. After morning theory, you spend the afternoon on supervised microsuction, irrigation and manual instrumentation. You don’t leave until you’ve done all three on real patients.

We work with you on the day to get you there. If we cannot sign you off (this is rare), we’ll arrange a free repeat session at a future date. Nobody pays twice.

Yes. Hot lunch, unlimited tea and coffee, and refreshments throughout the day. All included in the course price.

Yes. Every training venue has free on-site parking. If you are travelling by train, most venues are within 15 minutes of a major station.

Nothing. We provide all training equipment on the day. If you’d rather train on your own otoscope or loupe, you’re welcome to bring it.

The £1,250 tier includes a full starter kit. If you want kit without the training, or extra consumables on top, get in touch and we’ll quote you directly.

Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations link the city nationwide, the M8, M77 and M74 motorways run right through it, and the Subway circles the centre. The training venue offers free on-site parking.

Our Glasgow trainees travel in from across the region, including Paisley, East Kilbride, Hamilton, Motherwell, Renfrew and Clydebank, plus the wider west of Scotland from Ayrshire to Dunbartonshire.

Yes. With a large local population across the west of Scotland and the NHS no longer routinely offering ear wax removal in most areas, private demand is high and growing. A qualified practitioner can build a busy local service in their own town or area.

Absolutely. You leave with a CPD-accredited certificate, the practical confidence to treat patients safely, and our full digital members area, with business setup tools, SOPs and marketing guidance to launch your own service across the west of Scotland.
