2. The information we collect
Depending on how you use our service, we may collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- A delivery address, where your booking includes an equipment kit.
- Booking and payment records, including which course you booked and the amount paid.
- Attendance and course outcome records, such as whether you completed or passed a course.
- Your marketing preferences and any messages you send us.
- Basic technical information about how you use our website, such as your device and pages visited.
We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Card payments are handled securely by our payment provider.
3. How we use your information and our lawful bases
We use your information to:
- Take and manage your booking and provide your course and materials (to perform our contract with you).
- Send you booking confirmations, reminders and information about your course (to perform our contract).
- Dispatch your equipment kit and keep you updated on delivery (to perform our contract).
- Improve our courses, website and service, and keep our service secure (our legitimate interests).
- Send you marketing about our courses and offers, where you have agreed to receive it (your consent).
- Meet our legal and accounting obligations (to comply with the law).
4. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to run our service, with:
- Our payment provider, to take and secure your payment.
- Our email and text message delivery providers, to send you booking and course communications.
- Our IT, hosting and website providers, who store and process data on our behalf under our instructions.
- Our professional advisers, such as our accountants, where reasonably required.
- Government bodies, regulators or law enforcement, where we are legally required to do so.
Any provider that processes data for us is required to keep it secure and to use it only for the purposes we set. We remain responsible for your information.
5. Marketing
We only send you marketing where you have agreed to receive it. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails, by replying to ask us to stop, or by contacting hello@wax.co.uk. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential messages about a booking you have made.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, to remember your preferences and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our service and to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations. When we no longer need it, we securely delete or anonymise it.
